Solar bricks provide energy for the building

Future homes can be made of blocks that convert sunlight into usable energy, according to Meat News Agency quoted by NewTales.

Researchers at Exeter University are building a new technology that helps buildings build and consume their energy.

These solar panels or squares are designed to be interchangeably intricate and can be used to build a complete building or to use it to renovate a part of the old estate.

The structure of the blocks is very similar to glass blocks, which can be replaced by ordinary bricks to bring light into the house.

Each block has intuitive visual arrays that focus on sunlight in small solar cells. In this way, the energy production of each cell increases.

The electricity produced in this way can be used to supply home power or store it in batteries. It can even be used to charge electric cars.

Researchers at Exeter University are now looking to invest in product testing. These blocks will be available in 2018.
